Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the front desk - Follow up with clients, take payments over the phone and process credit cards - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual - Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for the office - Transcribe and distribute messages accurately - Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, and faxing - Assist with order entry and inventory management - Coordinate and assist with event planning and organization - Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Requirements:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of medical office procedures is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing messages - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Note:
This position requires a self-starter and someone willing to wear multiple hats we are a busy shop and the phone is constant.
It also requires someone with a good sense of humor and team player.
